Playing in the Snow

On Christmas night it was a blizzard. When we woke up the next morning we had about a 8 inches of snow. Bosley loves playing in the snow. He jumps around like a deer and sticks his nose down in the snow.

Well Santa made a really good stop at our house

this year. Dano got a new shot gun, camo coat and a few other things. He brought me a couple new kitchen applainces, clothes and some other gadgets. Bosley also enjoyed the morning, he got new dog dishes and treats. But he really loved all the boxes chewing them up.

Lake Powell

In August Matt, Mindy, Josh, Mandy, Dano & myself went to Lake Powell for 4 days. We had a good time, all the boys just wanted was to catch some fish, well the morning that they found a bunch of striper boils they were going crazy. It was funny watching them jump around the boat trying to get there fishing poles. The last night that we were there the weather kind of got wild on us, it never did rain but the wind blew pretty bad that it broke our tent poles. Dano and Mattt had to rig it back together so we would have somewhere to sleep. It was another great trip.

Ryker is finally HOME

I know that I'm a little behind on my blog but as I had said before, Ryker was born at 23 weeks. He is our miracle baby. Ryker got to come home in June, that was the best day for Travis & Haven. He came home with heart monitors and oxygen tank, but he didn't have them for long. He is doing really well, all the doctors are very impressed at how good he is doing.

In May Dano, Colby, Brooke & myself went to Cancun. I have always wanted to go there and finally got the chance. We I first stepped out of the plane I thought I was going to die. It was so humid. But as the days went on I didn't really notice it as much. We went shopping, parasaling, rode wave runners, went to Isla Mujeras Island, did a jungle tour, deep sea fishing, went to Senor Frogs (watch a guy break his finger) we did alot of things. So all in all my dream of going to Cancun paided off. We had a BLAST!!

This is just 1 of our many campiong trips that we have durning the summer. Rain or shine some of them can get pretty wild!

~Easter 08~

Easter was early this year, so it was really cold but we still made it fun. On Saturday we had our anual Easter egg hunt and dinner. We started hiding all the eggs for the kids and Bosley was feeling left out, so we let him get 2 eggs. He was happy when he finally chewed them open and found some jelly beans. We still felt bad that all the kids where having fun so we gave Bosley his Easter basket, and let him play with his new ball and he had to have some of his treats.
